"Well here in Britain, people have this impression that I'm cold, distant, etc." Lynn informed her.

"oh you are so lieing to them." she smiled "i didnt know you had a cold bone in yor body."

"Not with my friends no." Lynn reasoned. "But with people like your cousin..."

she smiled "yes well my cousin can bring out the worst in people."

"Isn't that the truth." Lynn muttered darkly.

Jessica put an arm around lynn "dont worry he is a jerk and does not deserve to even be mentioned."

"Good idea." Lynn said.

she giggled "yes well anyways are you excited to go back to school with me?"

"I guess." Lynn shrugged impassively.

"ugh fine dont be all happy for me to be back to hang out with you." she shrugged "face it i am like your best friend."

"Yeah you are, but that doesn't mean all that much." Lynn said honestly.

jessica gasped "how can it not mean that much everyone needs a best friend, it should mean quite a bit."

"Look Jessica, at school things are different. I don't have a best friend, heck I barely have any friends at all." Lynn told her.

"so what your not going to talk to me." jessica asked

"I don't know. Honestly." Lynn said.

"why wouldn't you talk to me. I mean your the only one i know besides draco and i don't want to hang with him." she pouted

"Who knows what house you'll be in." Lynn shrugged.

"I'm in hufflepuff" she sighed "didn't we talk about this earlier?"

"I can't remember." Lynn sighed. "Sorry I'm just a bit stressed out at home."

Jessica put a caring arm around lynn "you can tell me anything."

"Yeah I know its just I don't want to talk about." Lynn sighed.

jessica smiled "but when you do i am here."

"I'll keep that in mind." Lynn said with a weak smile.

jessica smiled "i have always been here for you." she looked into her eyes "lynn i need you as much as you need me if not more."

"Woah your not a lesbian are you?" Lynn asked beginning to feel a bit awkward.
